A little about the Maidstone Principal

Principal Charlotte Olivares and her fabulous team, welcome you to Razzamataz Maidstone. Our wonderful school launched back in 2011 and is built on commitment, teamwork and dedication. Each and everyone of our students are a shining example of the truly brilliant and talented young people in Maidstone. Our Razzamataz community is made up of our lovely supportive parents and guardians, amazingly talented and gorgeous students and our insanely creative and dedicated teaching team. Our community’s commitment and dedication to creating a brighter future for all is the reason behind our success.

We are incredibly proud to have become an award winning school – winning “Spotlight of the Year” in 2017 and “Head Office Team Choice Award” in 2018. These awards highlighted our high standards in terms of quality of tuition, expertise and inspiring young people to be the best they can be. In 2020 we were finalists for the “Community Business of the Year” award in the annual Club Hub Kids Activities awards, for our hard work and commitment to the local community throughout 2019. In March 2021 we were announced as finalists for “Community Business of the Year” and “Leader of the Year” in the annual Club Hub Kids Activities awards, which will be held in September 2021.

Charlotte’s passion to explore all aspects of the world of theatre began from a young age. Charlotte toured with the Kent County Choir, studied Technical Theatre exploring exciting roles such as Stage Manager, Props Mistress, AV/Lighting Operator and Sound Operator. Charlotte pursued her passion for Drama at University graduating with a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts in 2012.  Charlotte worked for Razzamataz for 4 years before becoming the Principal of Maidstone in 2015. Charlotte has a real passion for enabling others to reach their full potential. “Nothing gets me more excited than seeing someone’s light turn on when they start to see and believe in the talent and beauty they hold within”.

Razzamataz Maidstone brings a fresh, funky and modern feel for students aged 2 – 18 years who enjoy the performing arts and may want to pursue a career in the industry or just have FUN!
